It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to St Margaret's at Troy Town C of E Primary School website and to a school that prides itself on its caring and inclusive deeply Christian ethos.
Here at St Margaret's at Troy Town we welcome children, their parents and carers into a friendly, happy and hardworking environment where respect for others, positive attitudes towards work and behaviour are encouraged and nurtured.
All members of staff are committed to providing a broad, balanced and relevant education for all the children within a supportive and stimulating environment. We believe that it is very important that children have a wide range of opportunities and educational experiences thereby inspiring an enjoyment of learning and enabling every child to maximise their potential.
We always welcome parents and carers and firmly believe in the partnership between home and school. This ensures all children to achieve their best academically, socially and emotionally.
So I extend a personal invitation to you to come and see the school, talk to myself and my team to find out more about us. I am always happy to show visitors the work of our fantastic children and staff.
With best wishes,
Ms L Jobling
- This begins Monday March 4th 2019 and will run all week. Our theme this year is SMATT Story Tellers and each class will be exploring a ‘twisted’ fairy tale.
- It has been brought to our attention that the online site/ app MOMO has been causing concerns and I have found the following website regarding MOMO.
- On Monday, to start our Book Week we had a local poet come and visit to share some of her poems and to answer questions from the children about publishing her work. The children enjoyed hearing all about how Sarah became a published poet.
