- What is a school council? - A school council is group of students who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve their school.
- Please come and visit the SMATT School Council stall at the Christmas Fayre (29th November) where we will be selling glass tealight holders perfect for a present for someone special this Christmas.
We will be continuing to use our class perseverance pots and at the end of the term we will be giving an award to the children in each year who have persevered the most.
This term we will also to working and developing our idea of a Playtime 'Buddy Bench'.
For term 3 and 4 we have chosen to focus on our school value of 'Perseverance'. We have come up with the idea that each class will have a Perseverance Jar where anyone in the class can vote for people in their class, who they think have been persevering. All you have to do if pick up a perseverance ticket, write down who you are nominating and why they have persevered. At the end of term 4 the school council will count up the tickets and the person with the most nominations in each class will receive a perseverance award.
