Applying for a place at SMATT
Things are a little different this year and as such we are unable to welcome you into our school family as we normally would. Nevertheless, despite the unprecedented times, you and your child are still a priority for us and we aim to give you as much information as we possibly can.
As such we will be providing the following opportunities for prospective parents and carers to visit our school.

You will need to book a place by contacting our school office on 01634 843843. At this time we will only be able to accommodate 12 people for each session and you will be required to wear a mask as well as leaving your contact details.
Socially Distanced Tours after school

We are lucky at SMATT to be able to provide Forest School sessions for our children which help them to grow in confidence as a result of the freedom, time and space they are given in their learning. Spending time in the woodland is exciting for a child. It tends to fascinate them which develops a strong will to participate and concentrate over long periods of time. The sensory experiences provided by Forest School helps prompt language development. Improving communication skills has a positive effect on a child’s self-esteem and is a crucial part of their development. Encouraging children to develop a relationship with the natural world will help in protecting the environment for generations to come which is a priority here at SMATT.
